Our Story

Founded in 2022 under the Johor Basketball Association, the Johor Southern Tigers were built to give Johor a team worth roaring for. The Tigers wasted no time making noise in the Major Basketball League (MBL), reaching back-to-back finals in their first two seasons and coming away as runners-up both times — a hard-earned apprenticeship that hardened the squad for what came next.

That patience paid off in 2024–25, when the Tigers finally broke through to claim the MBL Championship, defeating the Penang Sunrise Youngsters in the final. Today the Southern Tigers stand as the pride of Johor — hungry to defend their crown and carry Johor's colours further afield.
